Abstract
This study aims to analyze the effect of financial compensation and digital fatigue on turnover intention, with quality of work life as a mediating variable among employees of PT. Sinar Murni Indoprinting. The background of this study is based on the increasing use of digital technology in the workplace and the importance of quality of work life in influencing employee behavior, particularly the intention to leave the organization. This research employed a quantitative approach using a survey method by distributing questionnaires to 88 employees. The data analysis technique used was Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) based on Partial Least Square (PLS). The variables examined in this study include financial compensation, digital fatigue, quality of work life, and turnover intention. The results indicate that financial compensation is associated with turnover intention; however, the direction of the relationship is not as expected. Digital fatigue does not have a direct effect on turnover intention. In contrast, financial compensation and digital fatigue are associated with quality of work life, although some relationships do not align with the initial hypotheses. Furthermore, quality of work life is found to mediate the relationship between financial compensation and digital fatigue and turnover intention, but it does not have a direct effect on turnover intention. These findings suggest that turnover intention is influenced more indirectly through employees’ perceptions of their quality of work life.
