Abstract
Analysis of Component 6A in the Tourism Development of Wonorejo Mangrove Botanical Garden, Surabaya Wonorejo Mangrove Botanical Garden is a natural tourist attraction in Surabaya, which is recommended for tourists to explore the natural scenery amidst the hustle and bustle of the city of Surabaya. The Wonorejo Mangrove Botanical Gardens boast a diverse array of natural tourism potential, including a rich mangrove ecosystem, diverse fauna, and a pristine environment. However, its development still faces various obstacles that affect its attractiveness and the number of tourists visiting. This study aims to analyze the 6A tourism components (Attraction, Amenity, Accessibility, Activity, Available Packages, and Ancillary Services) in the development of tourism in the Wonorejo Mangrove Botanical Gardens in Surabaya, and to identify supporting and inhibiting factors for its development. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method, with data collection through interviews, observations, and documentation. Data validity was tested using source triangulation by comparing information from managers, tourists, observation results, and documentation. The results show that the Wonorejo Mangrove Botanical Gardens has major potential in the aspects of natural attractions, basic facilities, strategic location access, and adequate supporting services. However, several 6A components are still not optimal, especially in the aspect of attraction variety, limited tourism activities, and the unavailability of integrated tour packages. In addition, obstacles are still found in the form of supporting facilities, less than optimal digital promotion, limited human resources, and low involvement of local MSMEs. Supporting factors for development include natural potential, the atmosphere of the area that supports healing tourism, and the cultural potential of the surrounding community. Overall, the 6A components in the Wonorejo Mangrove Botanical Gardens have the potential to support sustainable tourism development, but optimization is still needed in several aspects to increase the competitiveness and sustainability of tourist attractions.
