Abstract
Unit Pertanian Puspa Agraria is a business unit under BumDes Puspa Nagari, Bedali Village, Lawang District, Malang Regency, which cultivates hydroponic melon using drip and NFT systems. The problems encountered include production fluctuations due to pest attacks and suboptimal implementation of production management, necessitating an in-depth study of business feasibility. This study aims to analyze production management, forecast production and income, and assess the financial feasibility of hydroponic melon farming. The methods applied include qualitative descriptive analysis for production management, the least square method for forecasting, and R/C ratio, B/C ratio, and BEP for financial feasibility analysis. The results indicate that Unit Pertanian Puspa Agraria has implemented five production management functions sufficiently well, although further evaluation is needed regarding nutrient application. The production forecast for periods 10–15 shows an upward trend with a total increase of 9.27%, while the income forecast increases by 19.62%. The feasibility analysis yielded an R/C ratio of 2.01, B/C ratio of 1.01, BEP unit of 819 kg, and BEP of IDR 18,017,885.49. It is concluded that hydroponic melon farming at Unit Pertanian Puspa Agraria is financially feasible and has potential for continued growth in future periods. Keywords: hydroponic melon, production management, financial feasibility
