Abstract

This report presents the results of the Field Work Practice (PKL) activities carried out at PT Bina Informatika Solusi Madiun Branch (Fibertrust Madiun) from March 3 to June 25, 2025. This activity focused on the design and development of a web-based information system for managing digital vouchers which is intended as one of the strategies for increasing cooperation between Fibertrust and partner merchants. This system is designed to support the efficiency of distributing vouchers to customers. This application was developed using the framework as a backend base, with a role-based access control approach, which separates the functionality between admin and merchant. The admin is responsible for managing merchant data, determining monthly balance allocations, and creating and distributing vouchers automatically through the integration of the Wablas API to customer WhatsApp. On the other hand, merchants have access to check and redeem vouchers manually or by scanning QR codes created dynamically using the ZXing library. Automatic voucher redemption will update the merchant's balance in the database according to the current period. The user interface (UI) is designed using Blade combined with Tailwind CSS and Alpine.js to produce a modern, lightweight, and responsive look and feel. Input validation is performed thoroughly on both the client and server sides to ensure system integrity. The database structure is built using the framework’s migration feature, which defines a relational schema between user entities, vouchers, merchant balances, and redemption history. With this approach, the system is able to support continuous development and consistent data maintenance. Overall, the developed system has succeeded in providing a digital solution for managing vouchers with efficiency and low error rates. In addition to supporting the company's internal operations, this application also strengthens the synergy between Fibertrust and its business partners through information technology systems. This internship activity provides real experience in developing an integrated information system that can be customized to business needs, adding value to the use of digital technology for collaboration between companies.
