Abstract
This study aims to analyze the influence of fundamental banking factors on operational efficiency and compare the performance of digital and non-digital banks in Indonesia for the period 2015–2024, using a quantitative approach with panel data from 10 sample banks and analyzed using the Fixed Effect Model (FEM). The results show that ROA and DPK have a negative and significant effect on BOPO, thereby increasing operational efficiency, while LDR has a positive and significant effect, indicating that excessive credit distribution can reduce efficiency. Total assets and Dummy insignificant effect, indicating that bank size does not directly determine the level of efficiency. These findings confirm that optimal resource management and technology utilization are important factors in improving banking operational efficiency in the era of digital transformation.
