Abstract

In the current era of globalization, the internet is becoming more sophisticated and continues to develop, the movement of human life has become easier and feels closer. Based on a survey conducted by the Indonesian Internet Network Providers Association (APJII), internet users in Indonesia reached 215.63 million people in the 2022-2023 period. Through online buying and selling sites, shopping patterns in society, especially internet users, are starting to change. Especially people who have high mobility prioritize using market space as a shopping place to meet their needs. Currently, consumer behavior is starting to change, preferring things based on convenience so that everything becomes practical, which is why online shopping is starting to be chosen by Indonesian people. Marketplaces in Indonesia include Tokopedia.com, Bukalapak.com, blibli.com, Zalora, Lazada and so on. One type of marketplace that is quite popular in Indonesia is Tokopedia.com. Tokopedia.com is an online marketplace that allows every individual and business owner in Indonesia to open and manage their online shop easily and free of charge, while providing a safe and comfortable online buying and selling experience. As a marketing transaction channel that is still relatively new, e-commerce contains more uncertainty and risk compared to conventional transactions because sellers and buyers do not meet each other. As one of the important factors in online purchasing, price perception and the trust that is formed will influence consumer buying interest in a product. When selling any product on e-commerce, you still find customers who are interested but don't necessarily decide to buy. This is often encountered when buying and selling both online and offline.
