Abstract

This internship was conducted at D’Topeng Kingdom Foundation and focused on the development of the user interface (UI) for the web-based learning platform Minilemon Learning System (MLS). The platform aims to provide an educational medium that is interactive and user-friendly, especially for children and adolescents. The development process utilized modern front-end technologies such as React.js, Tailwind CSS, Next.js, and TypeScript to build a modular, responsive, and scalable user interface. The internship spanned 16 weeks in a Work From Home (WFH) setting, involving the design and implementation of UI components for three user roles: student, mentor, and admin. Each interface was developed based on UI/UX designs and implemented collaboratively using tools like GitHub and Figma. In addition to interface development, the team performed validation, code refactoring, and visual testing to ensure consistency and functionality across the platform. The results demonstrate that the use of modern front-end technologies can significantly accelerate development, maintain clean code architecture, and enhance user experience quality. This internship provided valuable hands-on experience in software development, particularly in project-based environments, and improved the participants’ skills in collaboration, technical implementation, and problem solving within a professional context. Although the MLS platform remains under development, t
