Abstract

Education plays an important role in improving the quality of human resources who are competitive in the global era. One form of support for expanding equitable access to education is the provision of scholarship programs. However, in many institutions, the administrative processes and management of scholarship registration are still carried out manually, which can lead to delays, data duplication, and administrative errors. This study aims to design and develop a web-based scholarship registration administrative information systemusing the Laravel Framework as a solution to provide a more structured and organized scholarship administration process. With this management system, the administrative processes prior to the main selection stage can be carried out more efficiently through documented workflows and the recording of every administrative activity in the system. The system was developed using the Waterfall method, which includes communication to gather user requirements, project planning, interface architecture design, feature development, testing, and system implementation. The system is designed with three user levels—Super Admin, Admin, and Student—so that processes such as registration, document verification, and management of scholarship recipient data can be handled in a more controlled manner. System testing using Blackbox Testing, Security Testing, and Compatibility Testing shows that the system operates as required, is easy to use, secure in data management, and compatible across various devices and browsers. This system provides features for scholarship registration, document upload and verification, student and scholarship recipient data management, real-time registration status monitoring, and administrative report generation.
