Abstract

Cooperative serve as one of the efforts to improve Indonesia’s economy in accordance with Law Number 25 of 1992 concerning Cooperatives. However, challenges such as weak human resources, limited innovation, and insufficient capital still persist. In response to these issues, the Kediri City Government introduced the Prodamas Plus program, aimed at empowering communities through six sectors, including the economic sector. This program allocates a grant of IDR 100 million for each neighborhood unit (RT). Koperasi Kemiri Makmur RW 3 in Manisrenggo Village received full funding support from Prodamas Plus. This study evaluates the effectiveness of Prodamas Plus in the economic sector on the sustainability of Koperasi Kemiri Makmur RW 3, Manisrenggo Village, Kediri City. Using a qualitative descriptive approach with purposive and snowball sampling techniques, data were collected through semi-structured interviews, financial report documentation, and secondary sources, then analyzed using the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldana. The results show that Prodamas Plus grants have increased capital, assets, revenue (SHU), and membership, thereby strengthening the cooperative’s saving and loan functions and enabling service innovations such as the establishment of a basic-needs cooperative unit. However, the sustainability of the innovation remains constrained by limited space, human resource capacity, and leadership regeneration. Strengthening management, improving human resource capacity, and providing adequate operational facilities are necessary to maintain the program’s impact.
