Abstract
Eye disease is a common health problem that requires early detection to prevent further complications. This research aims to develop and implement a SehatBuddy chatbot that utilizes the OpenAI API, specifically ChatGPT, to provide initial diagnosis based on user-inputted symptoms. The development involved needs analysis, system design, implementation, and testing. Test results show that SehatBuddy is able to provide accurate and relevant responses to various eye disease symptoms, with a satisfactory level of accuracy. Users stated that the chatbot was easy to use and useful in providing initial information about their eye health condition. SehatBuddy is expected to be an effective tool in supporting early diagnosis of eye diseases, increasing public awareness of eye health, and reducing the burden on medical personnel. Further development is needed to improve the accuracy and scope of this chatbot service to provide wider benefits.
