Abstract
Sidoarjo Regency is one of the regions in East Java that contributes significantly to the number of HIV/AIDS cases. Krian Subdistrict is the area with the highest number of HIV/AIDS cases in Sidoarjo Regency. The localization of HIV/AIDS cases in Krian Subdistrict has led to an increase in the number of HIV/AIDS cases in the area from year to year. The purpose of this study was to analyze the implementation of HIV/AIDS response policies in Krian Subdistrict, Sidoarjo Regency, using Sidoarjo Regent Regulation No. 27 of 2018. The method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of the study show that the implementation of HIV/AIDS response policies, which include Health Promotion, HIV Prevention, HIV Diagnosis, Treatment, Care, and Support for People Living with HIV/AIDS, HIV Surveillance, and Rehabilitation, has been carried out well in the Krian subdistrict of Sidoarjo Regency. However, optimization in its implementation is still needed through strengthening human resource capacity, increasing funding, and strengthening cross-sector coordination, which are key factors in ensuring the sustainability of HIV/AIDS control efforts in the Krian District of Sidoarjo Regency Keywords: Policy Implementation, HIV/AIDS, Krian District.
