Abstract
After the COVID-19 pandemic, the number of street vendors selling along Benteng Pancasila Street in Mojokerto City has increased significantly. This situation has prompted the need for enforcement by local government officials. To address this issue, the government has formed a Pamong Praja Police Unit (Satpol PP). This study uses a descriptive qualitative research method that aims to obtain a comprehensive and in-depth description of the phenomenon being studied using data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis uses the interactive method by Miles and Huberman (1994), which includes data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing and verification. The results of the study indicate that the quality of work, capabilities, and communication skills of Satpol PP officers in carrying out their duties to control street vendors on Benteng Pancasila Street in Mojokerto City are at a good level. However, in terms of timeliness and initiative, they are still at a fairly optimal level because there are a number of aspects that have not yet reached their targets.
