Abstract
This study aims to analyze the implementation of human resource development in improving the performance of teaching staff at Marlupi Dance Academy Surabaya. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques in the form of interviews, observations, and documentation of owners, employees, and consumers. The analysis tools used are domain analysis and taxonomy analysis. The results of the study show that Marlupi Dance Academy develops human resources through regular training, dance technique workshops, career mentoring, welfare programs, and management and leadership training with periodic evaluations. These efforts improve the performance of teachers, as reflected in their discipline, creativity, technical mastery, ability to adapt teaching methods, and professionalism, with student and parent satisfaction as indicators of success. HRD at Marlupi Dance Academy creates competent and professional teaching staff who support the quality of education, student learning experiences, and the academy's reputation as a high-standard dance education center.
