Abstract
The internship at PT Semen Gresik's Rembang Factory provided an in-depth understanding of cement industrial processes and the physical and chemical testing of cement in the Quality Assurance Unit. This internship strengthened technical and managerial skills, but also provided insight into the challenges of a real industrial environment. To maintain cement quality at PT. Semen Gresik's Rembang Factory, cement testing is conducted in the Quality Assurance Unit, including physical and chemical testing. Physical tests include compressive strength, setting time, expansion, fineness (Blaine and residue), normal consistency, false set, and air content. Chemical tests include loss of ignition (LOI), insoluble residue (IR), and XRF testing. Developing work instructions for inputting physical and chemical test data into the QCX program at PT Semen Gresik's Rembang Factory is a crucial step in improving data accuracy and consistency. These work instructions are designed to provide clear and structured guidance to users so they can enter test data correctly and efficiently. With systematic guidance, the risk of data entry errors can be reduced.
