Abstract
This study aims to determine the application of management information systems in improving work effectiveness based on the My Japfa application at PT Japfa Comfeed Indonesia Tbk Gedangan Unit. The background of this study arose from the company's need to adapt to developments in digital technology, especially in human resource administration management, which was previously mostly done manually. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and documentation. The data is analyzed to describe in depth the employees' experience in using the application, including the benefits, obstacles, and its impact on work productivity. The results of the study show that the My Japfa application helps speed up the attendance, leave application, and business trip approval processes, while reducing the burden of manual administration. In addition, this system improves data accuracy, transparency, and ease of access to information. Despite some obstacles, this application has been proven to support work effectiveness and provide space for HR to play a more strategic role.
