Abstract
This study aims to analyze the influence of organizational culture and career development on employee job satisfaction at PT Kereta Api Indonesia Daop 8 Surabaya. Job satisfaction is a key factor that affects performance, loyalty, and the overall work atmosphere within an organization. This aspect is influenced by various internal factors, particularly organizational culture and career development. Data for this study were collected from 60 respondents using a quantitative approach with a probability sampling method and proportional random sampling technique. The data were then analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) through SmartPLS software. The variables studied consist of organizational culture (X1), career development (X2), and job satisfaction (Y), each of which has been tested for validity and reliability. The results of the study show that organizational culture and career development have a positive and significant effect on employee job satisfaction at PT Kereta Api Indonesia Daop 8 Surabaya. This indicates that the implementation of a strong organizational culture and clear, transparent career development plays a significant role in enhancing employee job satisfaction, especially in a work environment that demands precision and speed in providing public services.
