Abstract
The growth of the secondhand goods industry, particularly in the branded watch segment, presents significant business opportunities for Small and Mediumsized Enterprises (SMEs) like Watchout.id. However, their operational efficiency is often hindered by unstructured business processes, subjective product assessments, and inconsistent inventory management. This research aims to design an improved operational framework by applying Business Process Mapping (BPM) and a Priority Matrix method. This case study was conducted using a qualitative approach with data collected through interviews, observation, and document analysis. The research resulted in a comprehensive "To-be" proposal, which includes: (1) a detailed rubric to objectively assess the "Effort" required for servicing based on a multi-component evaluation, (2) a multi-factor rubric to assess the "Impact" based on market value and rarity, and (3) a "Zoned Priority Matrix" to guide strategic decisions. These systems are integrated into a new "To-be" process map and a centralized inventory dashboard prototype. The proposed framework was validated by the business owner and deemed applicable, providing a systematic, data-driven solution to enhance operational efficiency.
