Abstract

The Electrifying Agriculture Program is an effort to increase the efficiency of agricultural production through the use of electrical energy, replacing conventional energy sources such as fossil fuels. This research aims to examine the implementation of the Electrifying Agriculture Program and its impact on rice farming income in Sukorejo Village, Ponorogo Regency. The main focus of this research is to answer three problem formulations, namely: (1) the implementation of the Electrifying Agriculture Program, (2) a comparison of rice farmers' income before and after participating in the program, and (3) the effect of labor, Electrifying Agriculture costs, and rice production on rice farming income. The method used in this research is quantitative method with descriptive approach and multiple linear regression analysis. Data were obtained through interviews, questionnaires, field observations, and documentation. The results showed that the implementation of the Electrifying Agriculture Program in Sukorejo Village has been running quite well with the support of facilities from PLN and the active participation of farmers. The income of rice farmers after participating in the program has increased compared to before the program was implemented. The results of the analysis also showed that the variable number of labor, electricity costs (Electrifying Agriculture), and rice production simultaneously had a significant effect on rice farming income.
