Abstract
This study aims to analyze and uncover the discourse construction of 'Indonesia Gelap' built by Tempo's Bocor Alus Politik in its podcast which discusses the discourse of ‘Indonesia Gelap’. In late 2024 to early 2025, which was the beginning of Prabowo Subianto's leadership as President, there was turmoil between the government and society which gave rise to conflict in various region and social media. One of them is Media Tempo in Bocor Alus Politik as one of the podcast products widely watched by the Indonesian people to access information related to the government, also criticized 'Indonesia Gelap'. In its analysis, this study uses five steps to dismantle the discourse with the Foucauldian Discourse Analysis method and then linked to Michel Foucault's theory of power and knowledge. The results of this study found that Bocor Alus Politik constructs 'Indonesia Gelap' as a form of dissatisfaction, anger, and massive protests from students and the public against Prabowo's government. In this context, Bocor Alus Politik also issued sarcastic statements about the Prabowo administration and tended to corner it. Other findings include socio-political disorganization, militarism, and even authoritarianism within the Prabowo administration, which are considered to be worrying to the public. With the construction of a critical discourse that corners the Prabowo government, it can be seen that Tempo has an independent and oppositional ideology and interests based on Tempo's affiliation with foreign parties or companies owned by George Soros.
