Abstract
One of the targets for the clean water and proper sanitation point is improving the quality of clean water. The air quality index in Indonesia in 2015 had a value of 53.1 points and by the end of 2023 it had increased to 53.88 points. However, the increase still did not meet the national target. The low air quality from the target value is due to the high level of pollution from various household activities, large industries, small businesses, as well as agricultural activities, livestock, and so on. Many industries now pay less attention to environmental aspects, causing environmental pollution. One of these industries is the fish processing industry in Muncar District. Water pollution certainly has a very broad impact on life. This impact can affect the life of air biota, groundwater quality, health aspects, and environmental aesthetics. To control pollution caused by industrial waste in Muncar District, pentahelix collaboration is needed. This study uses qualitative descriptive aimed at describing Pentahelix Collaboration in Controlling Water Pollution due to Fish Processing Industry Waste in Muncar District, Banyuwangi Regency. The data sources used are primary and secondary data. Data collection techniques used interviews, documentation, and observation. The technique of determining informants used purposive sampling. Informants in this study included the Banyuwangi Regency Environmental Service, CV. Sinar Mas Mina Bahari IPAL Technicians, Airlangga University Students, Head of the Satu Hati Community, and PT. Duaempat Media Jaya. The data analysis technique used was the Miles and Huberman data analysis technique. The results of the study explained that the role of government and historians had participated, while the role of business had not participated. And the role of the Community and Media had played a good role. There needs to be ongoing collaboration and community participation in efforts to solve air pollution problems.
