Abstract

ANTAM precious metal gold investment is considered a safe and profitable option in the long run. In the digital era, psychological and social factors such as financial self-efficacy and social media influence play an important role in shaping one's intention to invest. This study aims to examine the effect of financial self-efficacy and social media influencers on the intention to invest in ANTAM precious metal gold with investment knowledge as a moderating variable. This study uses a quantitative method with variable measurement using a Likert scale. The sampling technique used is convenience sampling, with a total of 190 respondents. To analyze data and test hypotheses, the Partial Least Square (PLS) method is used through SmartPLS software. The results of this study indicate that financial self efficacy and social media influencers have a positive and significant effect on gold investment intentions ANTAM precious metals, besides that investment knowledge proves to be able to moderate the influence of financial self efficacy on investment intentions, but does not moderate the influence of social media influencers on investment intentions.
