Abstract
Based on data from the East Java Provincial Statistics Agency (2024), the open unemployment rate (TPT) for vocational school graduates is still the highest compared to other levels of education, at 6.42 percent. This figure far exceeds the TPT for high school graduates, which is 4.64 percent. This phenomenon indicates a gap between the competencies of vocational high school graduates and the demands of the industry. Work readiness is an important aspect that needs to be developed from the time students are in school, including physical and mental maturity, as well as learning experiences aligned with the world of work. Various factors influence students' work readiness, two of which are internal and external. Internal factors include self-efficacy, motivation, interest, and individual abilities, while external factors include the role of the environment, family support, school, and access to work-related information. The population in this study was 495 students in grade XII at SMKN 1 Mojokerto for the 2024/2025 academic year, using a quantitative approach and a survey method with a 1–5 Likert scale questionnaire. The sample size was 85, determined using proportionate random sampling, and data analysis was conducted using Partial Least Square (PLS). The results of the study indicate that self-efficacy enhances the work readiness of students at SMKN 1 Mojokerto, work motivation enhances the work readiness of students at SMKN 1 Mojokerto, and PKL also enhances the work readiness of students at SMKN 1 Mojokerto.
