Abstract
The construction industry plays an important role in the national economy. The Solo-Yogyakarta-NYIA Kulon Progo Section II Package 2.2B Toll Road construction project is one of the projects that requires fast workmanship, high quality, and cost efficiency. One crucial aspect that affects the success of the project is the flow of the supply chain of materials and heavy equipment, where delays can cause delays and increased costs. This study aims to analyze the influence of the supply chain flow of materials and heavy equipment on project performance and identify the most influential factors. The research method uses a quantitative approach with 50 respondents selected through purposive sampling from project employees. Data was tested using classical assumption tests and analyzed using SEM-PLS via SmartPLS software version 4.0. The results indicate that the supply chain of materials (X1) and heavy equipment (X2) significantly influence the performance of toll road projects (Y), with T-Statistic values of 4.472 and 3.251, respectively, and P-Value of 0 and 0.001. These values prove that these variables statistically contribute significantly to improving project performance. The coefficient of determination (R²) value of 60.6% indicates that 60.6% of project performance is influenced by the material supply chain and heavy equipment. The dominant influencing factors are the adequacy of material quantities during procurement (X1.2), communication challenges during the project (X1.7), and the timeliness of material payments to suppliers and subcontractors (X1.9), the quality and reliability of heavy equipment (X2.4), the availability of spare parts and technicians for heavy equipment maintenance when needed (X2.6), and the method of operating or using heavy equipment (X2.7). The remaining 39.4% of project performance is influenced by factors outside the scope of this study. These findings suggest that strengthening these indicators can enhance the effectiveness of project implementation.
