Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the effect of financial literacy and ease of use on consumptive behavior, moderated by lifestyle. The population in this study consists of Shopee PayLater users from Generation Z aged 17–28 years in Surabaya City. A sample of 112 respondents was obtained using non-probability sampling techniques with criteria including: 1) Aged 17–28 years and residing in Surabaya City, 2) Having made transactions using Shopee PayLater in the past 6 months, with at least 2 transactions. Data collection was conducted through the distribution of a questionnaire using a 1-5 Likert scale, which was then analyzed using SEM-PLS. The results of the study indicate that Financial Literacy has a positive influence on Consumer Behavior. Ease of Use has a positive influence on Consumer Behavior. Lifestyle can strengthen the influence of Financial Literacy on Consumer Behavior. Lifestyle cannot moderate the influence of Ease of Use on Consumer Behavior among Shopee PayLater users in Surabaya City.
