Abstract
This report discusses the development of an Android-based digital waste bank application for waste management that originated from the Bangkit Academy 2023 program project. The Bangkit Academy program is one of the learning programs led by Google with the support of GoTo, Traveloka, and DeepTech Foundation. The support from Kampus Merdeka, which also includes the Certified Independent Study program, provides learning opportunities for students in Indonesia to develop skills needed in the industry. The development of this project was intended to simplify waste management and increase efficiency in daily activities. In this report, the author describes the problems faced by conventional waste banks and how this application can be a solution to these problems. This application is developed through 3 parts of learning, including machine learning, cloud computing, and mobile development. With this application, waste banks, customers, and collectors can work together and build partnerships more broadly and efficiently.
