Abstract

The advancement of information technology had encouraged digitalization across various sectors, including education. SMPN 5 Sidoarjo implemented the Digital Management System (SIDILAN) to support the systematic and well documented management of student activities. The system aimed to create a better educational environment through the digitalization of school management. Issues within the system could hinder the teaching and learning process, making it important to analyze the factors that influenced its success. This thesis employed the DeLone & McLean Information System Success Model (ISSM), which consisted of six main variables: System Quality, Information Quality, Service Quality, System Use, Student Satisfaction, and Net Benefits. A quantitative approach was used, involving students as respondents, and the data were analyzed using SEM-PLS. The results showed that System Quality had a significant influence on System Use and Student Satisfaction, but not on Net Benefits. Information Quality significantly influenced System Use, Student Satisfaction, and Net Benefits. Service Quality only influenced Net Benefits. There was a reciprocal relationship between System Use and Student Satisfaction, both of which significantly affected Net Benefits.
