Abstract

In the manufacturing industry, selecting the right supplier plays a significant role in ensuring smooth production processes and maintaining a sustainable supply chain. This study aims to evaluate the performance of raw material suppliers at PT. Sasa Inti Gending based on sustainable criteria using the Purchasing Portfolio Matrix (PPM) and Supplier Portfolio Matrix (SPM) approaches. Issues such as delayed deliveries and environmental impact due to inefficient logistics management form the background of this research. Best Worst Method (BWM) is employed to determine the weighting of criteria within supplier segmentation, covering dimensions such as supply risk, profit impact, supplier capabilities, and willingness. This evaluation method provides a structured assessment that results in supplier performance rankings and identifies appropriate management strategies based on PPM and SPM segmentation. The outcomes are expected to reveal inefficiencies within the supply chain and offer actionable insights. Ultimately, this study serves as a foundation for implementing a sustainable supply chain management strategy at PT. Sasa Inti Gending and can be referenced in similar industrial contexts.
