Abstract

The attendance system is a crucial aspect in managing employee presence within a company. This research proposes an innovative Android-based attendance system utilizing face recognition technology to be implemented at PT IGS Indonesia Groups. By leveraging facial recognition technology, the system aims to expedite and enhance the accuracy of employee attendance recording. This article documents the developmental steps of the system, starting from the design of the Android application to the integration of face recognition technology. Testing was conducted to evaluate the reliability, speed, and security of the implemented attendance system. The findings of this research have resulted in an application for face detection, which will be employed in the future as a attendance system for employees at PT IGS Indonesia Groups
