Abstract

K-Pop fans are famous for their loyalty to their idols. One of them is by purchasing merchandise to products advertised by their idols. by their idols. Seeing this potential, various local brands do not want to be left behind and started using Korean artists as their brand ambassadors. One of one of them is Scarlett Whitening who appointed boy group EXO as their Glow Ambassador. The purpose of this research is to find out how consumer behavior factors influence EXO-L in purchasing Scarlett Whitening x EXO products. Scarlett Whitening x EXO products. The research method used in this this research is a qualitative method. The data collection technique used is an in-depth interview with members of the Erijo_L1485 community. Results The results showed that of the 4 factors of consumer behavior by Kotler and Armstrong, namely cultural, social, personal, and psychological factors, psychological factors are the main factor in purchasing Scarlett Whitening x EXO products by 5 informants who are members of the Erijo_L1485 community. Their loyalty to EXO as an idol is the main reason for purchasing the Scarlett Whitening x EXO Scarlett Whitening x EXO products. There is satisfaction in purchasing Scarlett Whitening products products, especially in the form of photocard or postcard in every purchase made. Other factors that support the consumption behavior of Scarlett Whitening x EXO are personal factors, namely age, economy, and lifestyle.
