Abstract

This research aims to analyze stakeholder collaboration in managing the tourist attraction of the Sunan Giri Tomb in Gresik, which is one of the important religious tourism destinations in Indonesia. The research method used is a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through interviews, observation and documentation studies. Stakeholders involved in management include the Tourism and Culture Department, the Sunan Giri Tomb Foundation, the village government, and the local community. The research results show that collaboration between stakeholders is going well, where each party has roles and contributions that support each other. The Tourism Office acts as a coordinator and facilitator in infrastructure development and tourism promotion, while the Sunan Giri Tomb Foundation focuses on preserving historical and cultural values. The village government supports it through the construction of infrastructure and community empowerment, while the local community participates in various religious and traditional activities. However, this research also identified a number of challenges, such as limited infrastructure, lack of optimal promotion, and competition with other religious tourism attractions. Therefore, a more integrated collaborative strategy is needed to strengthen tourism management, increase attractiveness, and support the sustainability of the development of the Sunan Giri Tomb as a highly competitive religious tourism destination.
