Abstract
The establishment of BUMDes as a driving force for the village economy requires good governance to ensure its sustainability and positive impact on society. BUMDes Simo Djojo Makmur, which was established in 2019 in Simoketawang Village, needs to evaluate its governance model for further development. This research aims to analyze the governance model for the development of BUMDes Simo Djojo Makmur based on six governance principles: cooperative, participatory, emancipatory, transparent, accountable and sustainable. The research uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach through direct observation, in-depth interviews with BUMDes administrators, village officials and the community, as well as documentation studies. Data analysis uses the Miles and Huberman interactive model. The research results show that BUMDes have implemented good governance principles, characterized by: active collaboration with universities and stakeholders (cooperative), community involvement in business development (participatory), equal treatment without discrimination (emancipatory), information disclosure and routine financial reporting ( transparent), structured technical and administrative accountability (accountable), as well as continuous innovation in the development of processed longan products (sustainable). However, there are still obstacles in the form of limited human resource capacity. The research recommends strengthening human resource capacity through continuous training, developing a structured administration system, and increasing product innovation to ensure the sustainability of BUMDes. Keywords: Governance, BUMDes, Village Development, Community Empowerment, Village Economy
