Abstract

Generation Z is a generation that has advantages in creativity and the development of science and technology, but with the existence of these technologies they are starting to like instant things in doing their work. This has led to the emergence of a generation that is mentally fragile and easily influenced by their own thoughts, which is called the strawberry generation. The strawberry generation is a term that emerged from Taiwan to indicate a generation that is similar to strawberries which look beautiful but fragile. Apart from that, the development of science and technology and foreign culture has caused the younger generation to care less about their culture, which actually has a lot of potential in building their character and morals, including the art of shadow puppetry. Apart from being entertainment, it can also provide moral messages in life, such as in one of the great epics, namely the Mahabharata, which is transformed into modern media using the ATUMICS method so that it is easier to enjoy and get the essence of moral education.
