Abstract
The use of chemical fertilizers in coriander cultivation often causes environmental problems due to chemical residues that accumulate in the soil. This study aims to investigate the effect of planting media composition and concentration of liquid organic fertilizer from banana pee kepokl on coriander growth and leaf yield. The research was conducted in the horticultural greenhouse of Bahari Karya Farmer Group, Surabaya from June to July 2024 using a completely randomized design (CRD) with two factors: composition of planting media and concentration of organic fertilizer. The composition of the growing media consisted of four variations in the ratio of soil, rice husk and solid goat dung: M1 (1:1:1), M2 (1:1:2), M3 (2:1:1), and M4 (2:1:2). The second factor is banana peel liquid organic fertilizer with four treatments: P0 (control 0.6 g NPK), P1 (10%), P2 (20%) and P3 (30%). Data were analyzed using ANOVA and HSD test. The results showed that the combination of M3 (2:1:1) growing medium and 20% liquid organic fertilizer concentration (P2) gave the best growth, including plant height, crown width and root size. This shows that media composition and fertilizer concentration have a significant effect, with optimal results in the combination of 2:1:1 media composition and 20% liquid organic fertilizer concentration.
