Abstract
Franchise is a rapidly growing partnership model in Indonesia that offers business opportunities for small and medium-sized entrepreneurs. However, until now, there has been no mobile application that provides a platform to connect franchisees and franchisors. This research aims to develop the Findchise mobile application with a focus on user needs using the User-Centered Design (UCD) method. The evaluation results from two iterations showed a significant improvement in the application's usability. The System Usability Scale (SUS) score for franchisees increased from 78 to 93.5, and for franchisors from 80 to 89.5. The Single Ease Question (SEQ) scores also improved, with franchisees increasing from 6.6 to 6.75 and franchisors from 6.5 to 6.68. These findings indicate that the design improvements implemented successfully enhanced the application's ease of use for both actors.
