Abstract

Culture is one of the paradigms in sustainable development, it is important to integrate and maintain cultural wealth in development strategies to build a better future. Based on data from datains.medium.com, it is written that the interest of tourists visiting Badung Regency for cultural tourism is only 1.24% in 2022. If this continues, it can fade the cultural identity in Badung Regency. Culture can develop in line with the role of the creative economy, therefore a supporting facility for the creative economy is needed that is able to maintain the sustainability of local culture, namely in the form of a Creative Center design. The design of the Creative Center is presented to accommodate the residents of Badung Regency in developing the creative economy and making it one of the cultural tourism destinations. In developing culture, a design is needed that is able to increase productivity and creativity and present a natural atmosphere that can attract tourists, these things can be responded to using a biophilic architectural approach. The biophilic approach is an approach that connects nature with daily human activities. According to Human Spaces Report data, a work environment with natural elements can increase creativity by 15%. Therefore, a biophilic architectural approach can help in carrying out creativity. The Creative Center design is designed with an analogy method which is also one of the principles of biophilic architecture. This design is expected to accommodate creative economy actors in developing local culture and can increase cultural tourism visits in Badung Regency so that cultural sustainability is maintained.
