Abstract

A Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) plant with a capacity of 75,000 tons per year, using the suspension polymerization process, will be established in the Krakatau Industrial Estate Cilegon (KIEC). This PVC plant operates continuously for 24 hours a day with 330 working days and 162 employees. The raw material used is Vinyl Chloride Monomer (VCM), sourced from PT. Asahimas Chemical, Banten. The auxiliary raw materials, Dilauroyl Peroxide, are obtained from PT. Nouryon, and Polyvinyl Alcohol from PT. Rudolf Polymer Indonesia. Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) resin is widely used in the manufacturing industry, such as window frames, doors, window coverings, drinking water pressure pipes, waste and drainage pipes, gutters, cable channels, flooring, wall coverings, reservoir liners, fences, and more.
