Abstract

A nitroglycerin plant with a capacity of 50,000 tons per year will be established in the Delta Silicon II Industrial Area, Bekasi, West Java. This plant will operate 24 hours a day and for 330 days a year. The nitroglycerin plant uses glycerin as raw material from PT. Cisadane Raya Chemicals, nitric acid from PT. Multi Nitrotama Kimia, and sulfuric acid as a supporting material from PT. Mahkota Indonesia. Nitroglycerin can be used in several industries, including the mining industry as an explosive, the military industry as a propellant, and the healthcare industry as a medication for heart attacks.
