Abstract
This study aims to analyze the effect of life expectancy, average years of schooling, and Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) on the Human Development Index (HDI) in Denpasar City. The data used in this study are annual data from 2010 to 2021 obtained from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS). The analysis method used is multiple linear regression to identify the relationship between these variables. The results showed that life expectancy and average years of schooling have a positive and significant effect on HDI in Denpasar City. Meanwhile, GRDP also has a positive, but insignificant effect on HDI. This shows that improving the quality of health and education is the main factor that drives the increase in HDI in Denpasar City. In conclusion, efforts to improve the welfare of the community in Denpasar City should be focused on improving the quality of health and education to achieve better human development.
