Abstract

Internship or Work Practice is a learning activity that provides students insight and practical experience about real activities in the world of industry, business and work (IDUKA) industry, business, and work (IDUKA). In this internship opportunity, the author works as a Backend Developer at PT Jawa Pos Multimedia, with the main task to developing the online research and survey application “Gawedata” and managing the related admin website. related admin website. This program is part of Merdeka Belajar Merdeka Campus (MBKM) at the Faculty of Computer Science, State University of East Java. Development “Veteran” East Java. The author's responsibilities include solving bugs, adding features, and increasing website efficiency. In addition, the author also assisted other divisions, made important contributions to the development of the application, as well as expanding personal insight and experience. Use of methods Exploratory Data Analysis method to gain insights from survey data, the application of the the concept of Cloud Computing to integrate local APIs, as well as collaboration with the Backend with the Backend Developer team through GitHub were important aspects in achieving the goals of the backend developers. Outcomes of this internship include an in-depth understanding of backend development using the Laravel and Flutter frameworks, as well as the concept of Cloud Computing, with tangible contributions in bug fixes and improved functionality of the Gawedata admin website.
