Abstract

This study aims to examine the effects of inflation, GDP, and minimum wage on labor absorption in the East Nusa Tenggara region during the period from 2010 to 2022. The methodology used is multiple linear regression analysis, utilizing secondary data obtained from BPS. The phenomenon shows that the economy in East Nusa Tenggara Province has been increasing every year. The province's minimum wage has also been increasing and is balanced by a stable inflation rate, but it has not been able to maximize labor absorption. This study finds that Gross Regional Domestic Product has no effect on labor absorption in East Nusa Tenggara Province. Meanwhile, inflation and minimum wage variables show a significant influence on labor absorption, indicating that higher levels of inflation and minimum wage contribute to labor absorption in East Nusa Tenggara Province. Keywords: Inflation, Gross Regional Domestic Product, Minimum Wage, Employment Absorption
