Abstract

Independent Study PT Synthesis Academy provides the best transformative skills-based learning, for job seekers & job creators. Partnering with PT. Orbit Ventura Indonesia, Synthesis Academy provides learning in the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to equip Gen Z job seekers with 21st century skills and to meet the needs of the world of work in Industry 4.0. MSIB activities are carried out by learning about AI online through project-based learning where the final results direct students to develop an application that originates from environmental problems. The scope of this activity which is the object of MSIB is the creation of Image detection with basic coding using collabs and developing using deployment. The process begins with collecting data obtained via kaggle.com and then processing it using Google Colab. The final result of this activity is problem solving by creating a sign language recognition program using deep learning, so that later it is hoped that it can help people with speech-impaired needs to be able to communicate with normal people who do not understand sign language through the program you created. Even though the interpretation will not be perfect, at least most of what is conveyed by the speech-impaired person will be generally accepted by the person they are talking to.
