Abstract
Supporters are an important component in a football match. Unfortunately, some unscrupulous supporters groups actually support their teams with fanaticism which is manifested in destructive or destructive behavior which triggers negative opinions from the public. On the other hand, there are groups or individual supporters who support their clubs with constructive or constructive fanaticism where the supporters make this happen in a positive way. Persela Lamongan is one of the clubs that has a fairly large group of supporters in East Java, especially since it has been in the highest caste of Indonesian football since 2003. Without exception, Persela Lamongan supporters. This phenomenon shows the need for media that can provide an alternative perspective in an effort to balance the perspective. negative about supporters in supporting their club. From in-depth observations and interviews, an illustrated book is the right medium to convey stories about the constructive side of Persela Lamongan supporters (LA Mania and Curva Boys 1967). The keyword in this design is "Fanaticism for the sake of an identity". The design of this illustrated book is aimed at Indonesian football supporters, especially Persela Lamongan, with an age segmentation of 19-22 years, which is the age of the majority of football supporters who are still active. The proportion of illustrations used is greater than text, the illustrations also use predominantly black and white and emphasize navy blue as the identity of Persela Lamongan using digital illustration techniques.
