Abstract

Long beans are the vegetable most consumed by people both directly and in processed form. Demand for long beans on the market continues to increase but production availability is still low. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of paclobutrazol concentrations and types of nitrogen fertilizer on the growth and yield of long bean plants. This research was carried out in Dander Village, Dander District, Bojonegoro Regency, East Java from December 2023 to February 2024. The study was using a factorial Randomized Block Design (RAK) with 2 factors. The first factor is the concentration of paclobutrazol P0 = control; P1 = 150 ppm; P2 = 200 ppm; P3 = 250 ppm. The second factor is the type of nitrogen fertilizer N0 = NPK (control); N1 = Urea; N2 = ZA; N3 = KNO3. The results showed that a concentration of 150 ppm paclobutrazol and KNO3 nitrogen fertilizer had a significant effect on the age which flowers appear and pod weight.
