Abstract

The Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) program is an innovative program from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology that aims to improve the quality of learning and provide students with the freedom to gain learning experiences outside the study program. The program is designed to develop students skills and competencies through various schemes, such as internships, research projects, student exchanges, and other learning activities that are relevant to the current needs of the world of work and industry. One of the implementations of the MBKM program is an independent internship conducted by students at Monster Group involving the development of the TOGI Resources Management System (TRMS) web. Through this internship, it not only provides experience in developing real systems and applications, but also trains students in collaboration, problem solving, and adaptation in the work environment. The results of this study show that through internships at Monster Group, students are able to apply the theories learned in lectures into real practice by translating business processes from TRMS version 1 and modeling business processes version 2 into UML (Unified Modeling Language) diagram types, namely Use Case Diagrams, Sequence Diagrams, Class Diagrams, and Activity Diagrams in web development and gain direct insight into the challenges and needs of the information technology industry.
