Abstract

Online media is a communication tool that serves an important function in conveying information to the public. In delivering messages, the media frames the news with reality construction based on the ideology and interests that influence the media. The construction of reality formed by the media can be analyzed with Robert Entman's framing analysis consisting of define problem, diagnose causes, make moral judgement, and treatment recommendation. In addition, to find out the factors that influence the media, the analysis is supported by The Hierarchy of Influences Model, which consists of five factors in a hierarchical structure: social systems, social institutions, organizations, routines, and individuals. Descriptive qualitative research with a case study method and documentation data collection technique will produce subjective research. The research results are explained based on the four framing components. Define problem determines the Jabodebek LRT disruption that shows its quality as the problem. Diagnose causes consider PT Industri Kereta Api (Persero) as the manufacturer of LRT Jabodebek to be responsible for the problem. Make moral judgment is given by PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) as the Jabodebek LRT service operator to the service user community. Treatment Recommendation shows that the media does not have the courage to express opinions with the narrative built by AntaraNews.com media itself but the media works as an extension of the government. Then, AntaraNews.com's editorial work goes through five levels of influence structure in The Hierarchy of Influences Model.
