Abstract
The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of hexagon fraud elements on the academic cheating of UPN "Veteran" East Java accounting students. Quantitative approach with primary data as a data source through filling out questionnaires distributed to respondents. The population consisted of 161 students using simple random sampling techniques in sampling by obtaining a sample of 62 students. The respondents of this study were accounting students of UPN "Veteran" East Java. Data that has been collected from respondents' answers is processed using analysis techniques with SmartPLS 4.0 software. The results of this study suggest that variables of pressure, capability, arrogance, and collusion cannot contribute to academic cheating. Meanwhile, opportunity and rationalization variables contribute to academic cheating. Keyword: Fraud Hexagon, Academic Fraud, Accounting Students
