Abstract
The Surabaya City Government is currently focusing on a community empowerment program aimed at reducing poverty. One of the City Government programs that has had a real impact on reducing poverty in the City of Surabaya is the Labor Intensive Program. Based on Surabaya Mayor Regulation Number 83 of 2023, Article 1 Paragraph 19 states that Labor Intensive Work is productive work which aims to empower poor families through the use of natural resources, workers and local technology to alleviate unemployment and poverty, increase income and protect people's purchasing power. This research aims to describe Empowerment Of Communities Of Tambaksari District, Surabaya City Through The Paving Production Work-Intensive House Program. This type of research is descriptive with a qualitative approach. Interviews, observation and documentation are the techniques used in collecting research data. The focus of this research includes location or area selection, community empowerment outreach, community empowerment process and community independence. The results of the research show that Empowerment Of Communities Of Tambaksari District, Surabaya City Through The Paving Production Work-Intensive House Program. has been implemented well, although there are still obstacles in the stages of the community empowerment process.
