Abstract
This study aims to determine the effect of workload and work environment on the performance of employees of PT. Petrojaya Boral Plasterboard Gresik. This type of research is a quantitative research and uses a saturated sample technique where the entire population is sampled, as many as 32 respondents. The type of data used is primary data by giving questionnaires to related parties and secondary data obtained from internal data of the company PT. Petrojaya Boral Plasterboard Gresik. The data obtained were then analyzed using Partial Least Square (PLS). The variables determined by the researchers included: the independent variable, namely Workload (X1), Work Environment (X2) and the dependent variable, namely Performance (Y). Based on the analysis results, the workload variable has a negative and significant effect on employee performance, while the work environment has a positive and significant effect on employee performance.
