Abstract
Agriculture contributes significantly to meeting the population's food needs. Its existence is an important factor for a country's food security. However, labor productivity in the hydroponic agricultural sector is still unable to meet consumer needs. Low farmer work productivity can be influenced by various factors, such as farmer competence and motivation in working. This study aims to analyze the influence of sociological competence and motivation on the work productivity of hydroponic lettuce farmers in the Dorang Cinta Women's Farmers Group. This study is based on quantitative data using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analysis with the Partial Least Squares (PLS) approach. The independent variables examined in this study include competence (X1) and sociological motivation (X2) and work productivity (Y) as the dependent variable. Sampling used a census method because the population is relatively small with 30 respondents. The results of the study indicate that sociological competence and motivation have a significant influence on work productivity.
