Abstract

The author has completed an internship at Abhimata Citra Abadi, a company engaged in providing high-quality products and services on telecommunication systems and networks. In an effort to continue to innovate and improve operational efficiency, ACA decided to develop a mobile application that allows employees to perform attendance and leave requests digitally. This initiative was taken to digitize the previously manual leave request system. While in the attendance system, this application will be used to help employees on duty in the field, so that employees do not need to take attendance at the head office. During the internship, the author was responsible for developing the backend or API part of the mobile application. The author used the Agile approach in developing this project, using Node.js and Express.js to build the backend. From the results of this internship activity, it can be concluded that the Backend or API application has been implemented and is expected to facilitate the company in monitoring and recording the activities of each employee.
